Creating Missionary Parishes
In Evangelli Gaudium, Pope Francis spoke in pars 25-33 about the need for structural conversion in parishes in order to make them missionary in orientation. In 2020 the Congregation of the Clergy, issued a document which spelt out some of the implications of the Pope’s thinking about the creation of missionary parishes.
This Summer School, which will be conducted online, is designed to help members of the clergy together with interested lay people, especially those who are on parish councils, to hear the latest thinking on this subject. We will have four speakers.
The Summer School will begin at 7.30PM on Friday 11th June 2021 and continue on Saturday 12th 11.00AM; 2.30PM & 5.00PM
