Spiritual Healing: an Introduction
Jesus came to bring good news to the poor which includes healing as an integral part of the Gospel message. Spiritual healing remains one of the deepest needs of the human heart. Many people today feel unanchored, lacking meaning and self-worth, and longing for a sense of God’s presence. Spiritual healing offers a way back — a way to rediscover belonging, purpose, and the love of God that restores the inner self. Pray for spiritual healing, especially for those aware of their need for God.
In every generation, hearts carry wounds that only God’s love can reach, making the call to spiritual healing both timeless and deeply personal.

I fall on my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth receives its true name. I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves, and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love. Yes, may you come to know his love — although it can never be fully known — and so be completely filled with the very nature of God. To him who by means of his power working in us is able to do so much more than we can ever ask for, or even think of: to God be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, for ever and ever! Amen.

Prayer
Lord, I long to know Your presence more deeply. Free me from sin; forgive me. Strengthen my inner self and free me from anything that separates me from You. Fill every empty space within me with Your love. Renew my desire for prayer, Your Word, and the sacraments. Let Your Spirit bring healing, peace, and joy to my heart, and help me to live in the fullness of Your love.
