Last updated: 20/10/2025

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Who we are

This website and related communication platforms (including the New Springtime Community WhatsApp group) are operated by The New Springtime Community.

Our mission is to encourage evangelisation, prayer, fellowship, and teaching/training through events such as Monthly Healing Service, Festal Shouts, praise and worship gatherings, and online courses.

If you have any questions about how your information is used, please contact us at: info.newspringtime@gmail.com

2. What information we collect

We collect personal information that you choose to provide through:

  • The Donations button (for processing contributions and issuing receipts)

  • The Contact Us form (for responding to your enquiries)

  • The Prayer Request form (for including your intentions in our prayers)

  • Event registration (for those who wish to host or coordinate a Festal Shout or similar event)

  • The New Springtime Community WhatsApp group (for sending event details and communications)

The information collected may include your name, contact details, and any message or content you choose to share.

3. How we use your information

Your information is used only for the purposes for which you provided it, including:

  • Acknowledging and processing donations

  • Responding to your messages or queries

  • Sharing prayer intentions within our prayer ministry

  • Coordinating and communicating about events

  • Sharing news, event details, links to zoom and follow up course notes and updates through the WhatsApp group

We will never sell, rent, or exchange your personal information with any other organisation.

4. WhatsApp data

Participation in the New Springtime Community WhatsApp group is voluntary.
By joining the group—via QR code, link, or request—you consent to:

  • Your name and phone number being visible to other members of the group

  • Receiving messages and updates related to community events, prayer intentions, and faith-sharing

  • The use of WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta Platforms, as the communication platform

We encourage members to respect the privacy of others and not to share any personal content outside the group.
You can leave the WhatsApp group at any time using the “Exit group” option within WhatsApp.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of:

  • Consent, when you voluntarily submit information or join the WhatsApp group

  • Legitimate interest, when communication is necessary for community engagement or event coordination

6. How your data is stored

Website data is stored securely through the Squarespace platform and integrated services that comply with GDPR.
WhatsApp communications are protected by end-to-end encryption, but data shared within the group is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
We do not export or store WhatsApp group data elsewhere unless explicit consent is given.

7. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or to meet legal obligations.
Prayer requests are normally held only as long as needed for our prayer ministry.
Members may leave the WhatsApp group at any time, and their details are automatically removed from the group list.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Request correction or deletion of your data
