The Divine Initiative in the Conversion of Gentiles

Acts 11:1‑18 recounts visionary experiences, divine guidance, the Holy Spirit manifested, and Gentiles speaking in tongues. Peter defended his actions by emphasising God’s initiative, the Spirit’s coming, and the gift given to Gentiles. Hearing this, the Christians at Jerusalem remained silent and praised God.
