Paul’s Address in Pisidian Antioch: God’s Initiative and the Fulfilment of His Promises

Paul and Barnabas attend the synagogue on the Sabbath. Following the readings, the leaders invited their noted guests to offer a message of encouragement. Paul recounted Israel’s history: God chose the Israelites, delivered them from Egypt, cared for them, gave them the land, provided judges, granted kings, and brought to Israel a Saviour, Jesus.
