Catechism: Talk 53
The divine plan of Revelation is realized simultaneously ‘by deeds and words which are intrinsically bound up with each other’ and shed light on one another. Catechism: The 1st Commandment
CCC 2083 The First Commandment➜
demands not only belief in God’s existence but the placing of God above every created thing, loving Him with heart, soul and mind. Catechism: The Second and Third Commandment

sanctifies the Sabbath, calling believers to keep the seventh day holy, rest in God’s creation, and honour the Lord’s day as a sign of covenant and worship.
