Jesus is the new moses (fourth sunday in ordinary time, Year A)

Jesus, the new Moses, teaches from a mountainside, giving the Beatitudes as a guide for disciples. They bless the poor, meek, merciful, peacemakers, and those who mourn or are persecuted, promising God’s kingdom now and fully at the end of time (CCC 1697, 1717).
